Webshop parameters
Parameters allow you to add specific features and details about products, such as technical specifications and other relevant information. These details help users find products that meet their needs and expectations, enhancing customer satisfaction and the shopping experience.
Accessible from the sidebar under Settings → Webshop parameters.
Sellvio enables administrators to manage Webshop parameters efficiently.
- Webshop categories – In the sidebar of the Webstore Categories page, selecting a category narrows down the parameter list, making it easier to quickly find the relevant parameters.
- To find a specific parameter, type its name into the search bar and click the "magnifying glass" icon.
- New parameters can be added at any time by clicking the "Add new" button.
- Webshop categories – This column shows the product categories associated with the parameter. The parameter will only appear for products within the categories listed here.
- Active – Indicates whether the parameter is active. Inactive parameters will not appear on products.
- Predefined values – The icon in this column shows whether the parameter values are general or predefined:
- Red icon – Indicates general values. These parameters do not have a predefined, selectable set of values. Administrators can flexibly assign any value to these parameters.
- Green icon – Indicates predefined values. When adding the parameter to a product, administrators can only choose from the predefined set of values.
- By clicking the "arrows" icon at the end of a parameter row and dragging it, administrators can reorder the parameters' display sequence on the product details and comparison pages.
- Clicking the "edit" button allows store owners to modify existing parameters.
- To remove a parameter, simply click the red "trash" icon at the end of the parameter row.
Adding or editing parameters
- Webshop category – Here, you can select the categories where the parameter should appear for associated products.
- Active – Indicates whether the parameter is active.
- Name – The name of the parameter must be entered in all languages used by the webstore.
- Predefined values – Determines whether the parameter has predefined values:
- Disabled (Gray) – The parameter does not have a predefined value list. Values can be set manually when adding the parameter to a product.
- Enabled (Green) – Predefined values can be specified for the parameter, and these can be selected when editing a product. It is important to note that in this case, custom parameter values cannot be added during product editing. These values must also be provided in all languages used by the webstore.

Parameters appear under the Specifications tab on the product page. They also play a crucial role on the comparison page, where they are displayed alongside the product’s image, name, and price. This helps streamline the process of comparing products.
