Webshop filters
Filters allow you to add specific product characteristics, details, specifications, and attributes that may be shared across multiple products. These features help refine product lists, enabling users to filter items more specifically. This functionality assists customers in finding products that meet their needs and expectations, enhancing satisfaction and the overall shopping experience.
Filters can be accessed from the sidebar under Settings → Webshop Filters.
Sellvio provides administrators with the ability to manage Webshop Filters.
By utilizing filters, administrators can define product characteristics, details, specifications, and shared attributes to improve the filtering process. This allows users to easily locate products that align with their preferences, boosting satisfaction and improving the shopping journey.
- Webshop categories – In the sidebar of the Webshop categories page, selecting a category narrows down the list of filters, making it easier to quickly locate the desired filters.

Adding or editing webshop filters
Adding filters requires only a few basic pieces of information.
- Webshop Category – Here, you can select the categories where you want the filter to appear.
- Active – Indicates whether the filter is active.
- Name – The name of the filter must be entered in all languages used by the webshop.
- Predefined values – Determines whether the filter has predefined values.
- Disabled (Gray) – The filter does not have a predefined value list. Values can be set manually when adding the filter to a product.
- Enabled (Green) – Specific values can be defined for the filter, and these can be selected when editing a product. Note that in this case, custom filter values cannot be added during product editing. These values must also be provided in all languages used by the webstore.
- Open by default – This toggle controls whether the filter’s values are visible when the list page is opened.
- Disabled (Gray) – Only the filter name is visible when the page loads, but the value list can be easily expanded by clicking the arrow.
- Enabled (Green) – Both the filter name and its values are visible when the page loads
- Value sorting – Allows sorting of items within the filter’s value list. To reorder, use this field and select an item from the pop-up list.
Filters appear on the product list pages for users. They allow products to be filtered based on specific criteria, streamlining the search process and saving time.
