Sources for articles
Accessible from the sidebar under Settings → Sources.
The Sources Administration Screen serves as a centralized repository, listing all quotes and news sources used in various articles.
- Name – The name of the publication, book, journal, or website from which the article content is sourced.
- URL – The source URL can be specified if the content references a particular website or web page. If provided, the source name displayed in the article will automatically link to this URL.
- You can search the list of sources by entering the source name in the search bar and clicking the "magnifying glass" icon.
- Unwanted sources can be removed by clicking the "trash" icon.
- Administrators can edit existing sources by clicking the "edit" button.
- To add a new source, click the "Add new" button.
Adding or Editing Sources
- Name – The name of the publication, book, journal, or website from which the article content is sourced.
- URL – The source URL is applicable when quoting content from a specific website or webpage. If provided, the source name displayed in the article will automatically link to this URL. It is important to note that this field is optional, as not all sources originate from the internet.
Click the "Submit" or "Submit and Stay" button to create or update the source.
