Managing warehouses
Accessible from the sidebar under Settings → Warehouses.
Sellvio makes managing and tracking inventory levels effortless.
By default, Sellvio allows administrators to create two types of warehouses:
-
Online Store – These warehouses are designed for online sales, with their available stock visibly listed on the online store, making it easy for customers to view and purchase.
-
Warehouses – These are not suitable for online sales. Their inventory is not displayed or used for online transactions in the store.
- Name – The name of the warehouse.
- Delivery Time – The estimated duration for products to be shipped and reach the customer after the order is placed.
- Online Store Inventory – Determines whether the warehouse's inventory is available for online sales.
- To search for a specific warehouse, simply type its name into the search bar and click the "magnifying glass" icon.
- Clicking the "edit" button allows administrators to modify existing warehouses.
- If a warehouse is no longer needed, it can be deleted by clicking the "trash" icon.
- New warehouses can be added at any time by clicking the "Add New" button.
Adding or editing warehouses
Sellvio allows store owners to create as many warehouses as needed to efficiently manage their business logistics.
- Name – The name is a clear and understandable label for the warehouse, and it must be provided in all languages used by the online store.
- Delivery time – The estimated time for products to be shipped and reach the customer after the order is placed. Options range from 1-3 business days to 30+ business days. If a product is available in multiple warehouses, Sellvio aims to display the shortest delivery time on the product page based on the warehouse settings.
- Webshop stock – If this option is not enabled, the warehouse's stock will not be available for online sales and will not contribute to the inventory available for online purchases.
Delivery Time on the Product Details Page
Sellvio strives to display the fastest delivery time based on warehouse settings. If a product is available in two warehouses, with one offering "1-3 days" and the other "30+ days," the product details page will consistently display the shortest delivery time.
Delivery Time on the Cart Page and in Order Confirmation Emails
To provide customers with an accurate estimated delivery timeframe, Sellvio consistently displays the longest estimated delivery time for the items in the cart and their associated warehouses, both on the cart page and in the order confirmation emails.
