SMS messages
The administration page allows the webstore owner to schedule and send pre-planned SMS messages.
Accessible from the sidebar under Newsletter & SMS → SMS Messages.
Messages sent from this section are strictly informational (e.g., scheduled maintenance, public service announcements, etc.) and cannot be used for marketing purposes. Messages are sent between 9:00 AM and 8:00 PM.
Important: This service requires integration with an external SMS delivery system supported by Sellvio. You can find a detailed guide for integrating the SMS delivery system here.
- Name – A short identifier for the message, helping administrators understand its content.
- Message – The detailed description or body of the SMS message.
- Language – Indicates the languages in which the message will be sent.
- Send at – The scheduled time for the message to be sent, as determined by the administrator.
- Status – Displays the number of messages sent out compared to the total intended recipients.
- Edit – Allows editing of the message settings.
- Delete – Enables deletion of the message. Messages deleted before their scheduled time will not be sent.
Adding and editing SMS messages
- Name – This field contains a short identifier for the message, added by administrators for easier organization.
- SMS message – This field contains the actual message that will be sent out.
- Send at – This field allows administrators to specify the date and time when the message should be sent.
- Language – Use this option to select the languages in which the message will be sent (multiple options can be selected).
- Recipients – Specify who will receive the SMS message (multiple options can be selected).
Sending Messages from the Orders Module
Once an external SMS delivery system (supported by Sellvio) has been successfully integrated into your webstore, the option to send SMS messages will also become available under the Webstore → Orders menu in the Actions column.
This option will appear as a small phone icon.
Clicking the phone icon opens a pop-up window, where you can send a personalized SMS message to the order's customer.
- Phone Number – Displays the phone number provided during the order placement.
- Message – This field allows you to enter the text message you wish to send.
