Set up company information
Setting up your company details is essential not only because they are prominently displayed in the header, footer, and contact page of your online store, but also because they are integrated into automated emails.
To set up your company details, simply click on the "Settings" button and then select "General Settings" in the left sidebar. Then, on the "General Settings" page, scroll down to the "Company Details" section.
Company Details
These settings are essential for personalizing your online store and ensuring seamless communication with your customers.
- Company Name: This is the name of your business or company that will appear on invoices and in automated emails, such as order confirmation emails.
- Registration Number: If applicable, you can enter your business registration number here. This is required for legal entities.
- Tax number: Similarly, if your business is a legal entity, you can enter your tax ID in this field.
- Country: Select the country where your business is located. This choice is crucial as it determines the payment and shipping methods available in your online store.
- Postal Code: Enter the zip code of the city where your business is located.
- City: Enter the name of the city where your business is located.
- Address: Enter the exact address of your business.
- Phone: Enter a contact phone number where customers can reach your business.
- Email: Finally, enter an email address where customers can contact you.
Social Media
If your business is registered on social media, you can add links to your profiles in the "Social Media" section below. This will make it easier for your customers to find and follow your business on the social media sites listed.
Based on the social links you enter, an icon will appear in the footer of the page that will point to the profile you provided.
