A voucher is a digitally created, pre-paid value ticket that can later be redeemed for specified products or services. This feature is particularly well-suited for selling gift cards, providing pre-paid services, and promotional purposes, as it offers a simple and efficient solution for managing and distributing digital vouchers.

The voucher functionality is simple and user-friendly. To use it, you must first create a product, and then the "voucher" option can be enabled in the product editor page.

After that, the product can be purchased in the traditional way – even using the quick order function. Once the order is successfully completed, the system automatically generates the vouchers: a separate voucher is generated for each purchased unit.

Voucher List

Customer - The name of the customer who purchased the voucher.

Product - The name of the product associated with the voucher.

Code - The unique identifier for the voucher, generated by the system.

Status - The current status of the voucher (e.g., redeemed, active).

Sent at - The date when the voucher was sent to the customer via email, after the order was completed.

Redeemed at - The date when the voucher was redeemed by the user (can be manually set).

The generated vouchers can be viewed and downloaded individually.

If the order status changes to "successfully completed," the system will automatically send the vouchers to the customer via email. The voucher will only be sent if the status change request is successfully completed.

Filtering and searching options are available in the voucher list, based on the provided keyword.

An expiration date can be set for each voucher. This allows online stores to precisely control how long vouchers can be used, thereby increasing the predictability and promotional impact of sales campaigns.

Voucher Redemption

The visual form of the voucher is displayed, which is automatically generated after the purchase and sent to the customer via email. It contains all the essential information needed for later redemption – such as the product name, unique identifier, and the customer’s name. During the redemption process, this copy serves as valid proof, so it is crucial to keep it.
