A new “free shipping product” option has been added to products, allowing the system to make the entire order’s shipping free when a specific product is added to the cart. A separate recommendation option can also be activated in the settings: if the customer’s cart does not yet contain a product marked for free shipping, but such products are available in the webshop, a pop-up window on the cart page offers 3 randomly selected products that can make free shipping available.
This allows webshops to control at product level which items provide free shipping for customers. It can help promote featured products, encourage customers to add more items to their cart, and contribute to increasing the cart value.
