A new field for specifying the canonical URL has been added as a feature on the SEO tab. The canonical URL indicates to search engines which page contains the original content. This is especially important for SEO, as it helps prevent ranking penalties caused by duplicate content and clearly signals to search engines which page should be considered the primary one.
